I offer both 30 and 60 minute lessons and these can be taught from my home or yours depending on distance (at no extra cost).
The lessons are completely tailored to the pupil's own abilities and desires. Novice's or total beginners can relax and rely on me to guide them through their learning in an easy and fun manner.
The following skills and topics can be covered during lessons...
- All styles and genre of drumming - this could include anything from Jazz to Metal.
- All grips and techniques - this could include the Moeller Technique.
- How to read and write drum notation.
- Varied drum beats, fills, double bass drum and solo ideas.
- Drum rudiments and applications.
- How to play drums along to music and copy your favourite drummers.
- Drum kit set up, tuning and maintenance.
- I can also teach grades or teach from any books pupils may suggest.
Any of these subjects may be requested or dropped by the pupil if desired.
Lessons are charged at £15 per half hour after the initial first FREE lesson.
The following images show the set up that will be used during lessons from my home. It's an excellent kit with realistic feel and sound but without the risk of damaging the pupils ears. The kit is supplied with double bass drum pedals as well as a plethora of other add-ons and teaching tools should they be needed!
