In this free video drum lesson, I want to show you how to play two of the major drum fills that occurs in the song “Mercy” by Muse.

Dominic Howard’s drumming never fails to excite me! I love it! He always comes up with such bombastic beats and fills, and the two that appear in this song are no exception.

The first fill at 0:58 is broken down by me in the video. I then give you a variation that I came up with. The second half of the video lesson details the second fill that occurs at 2:05.
