Of course, the exercise of writing these rhythms for myself is probably much better in the long run.

Thanks so much for your support my friend. I too am excited about the future of this site as there are so many cool things I want to do! I really want to give more to the great community that supports this site.

I'm currently working on a really big video for how to read and write drum music that is taking up ALL of my spare time at the moment. I'm really excited about it but unfortunately it's not giving me any time to update this site on a regular basis. This will change in the future though...I promise!

About the polyrhythmic Hi-Hat stuff. I'm afraid I don't have this material in pdf form at the moment but you can see the same effect by clicking here -  www.drumstheword.com/node/12. This lesson, found on this site, uses the bass drum to play every third sixteenth rather than the Hi-Hat but the polyrhythm is the same.
