In this free video drum lesson, I want to show you how to play the epic drum fill that occurs at 6:19 into the song “Stairway To Heaven” by Led Zeppelin.
John Bonham was the drummer of course, and he simply blows me away with his unique and skillful drum groove and drum fill construction.
There are many other lessons online teaching this drum fill but I wanted to offer you my take on it. I also believe that this IS the correct way to play it as well! 🙂
In this free video drum lesson I show you how to play both the actual version as well as a simplified version. This will hopefully give you some alternatives if you find Bonham’s actual lick a little tricky.
