In this free video drum lesson, I want to teach you how to play the song “Take On Me” by A-Ha, featuring the drumming programmed by Paul Waaktaar.

This lesson features my interpretation of this classic from the 80’s as the drums were programmed and not recorded using a real drummer. There are parts where I’ve had to compromise between what you’re hearing and what is actually possible to play. Despite that, the drum parts are fun and should certainly improve your bass drum technique!
