In this free video drum lesson, I want to teach you how to play the song “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting” by Elton John featuring Nigel Olsson on drums.
The trick to this song is understanding that the hi-hat parts were overdubbed over the top of the main drum beat. In this lesson I show you how to replicate those parts even though some would be impossible for just one drummer to perform.
