In this free drum lesson, I want to teach you the drum solo from the song “Bang Bang” by Green Day featuring Tre Cool on drums.
This is a very cool and exciting drum solo that I believe most drummers could have a go at replicating without too much trouble. It’s all single strokes, and it’s only the tempo and orchestration that makes this a little tricky.
Featured in the solo are also a few of Tre Cools signature licks, so even if you can’t play the whole solo, then you can at least take out a few Tre Cool licks from this lesson instead.
