In this free video drum lesson I’m going to take you through two of my favourite drum fills from the song “Walk” by Pantera. Vinnie Paul plays with both power and subtlety – a rare combination for drummers, I’m sure you’ll agree!
The song is based in triplets giving the song it’s “shuffle” feel. This makes the drum fills even more interesting and quirky to listen to.
Vinnie Paul is known for his metal drumming but boy, can this guy groove and swing! Try listening to this song whilst NOT nodding your head or tapping your foot…it’s irresistible!
