In this free drum lesson, I want to teach you the main parts from the song “Longview” by Green Day featuring Tre Cool on drums.

We’re back with another classic from Green Day and playing one of Tre Cool’s favourite style of drumming…triplets around the toms. The basic drum groove is not that difficult but is taken up a level with the use of the Hi-Hat foot, bass drum and improvisation within the triplets.
