In this free drum lesson, I want to teach you the drums to the song “Girls On Film” by Duran Duran featuring Roger Taylor on drums.

My next Christmas gift to you features Roger Taylor doing his signature thing…fast double handed hi-hat work! The verses are a real work out but the choruses feature a simpler part with some cool open hi-hat sections.

I also talk about the fact that Roger overdubbed some Timbale parts over the top of the song. For this chart I decided that the underlying grooves were more important to capture. Also, enjoy the little verbal mistake I make at the end of the video…wow! 😀
