This video is about a cool little four note linear lick played between the hands and the feet. This lesson builds upon the (Three Note Grouping – RLL) video.
The sticking is R L L F. I will be showing you ways this four note pattern can be used within drum fills as well as how to use it within a linear style drum beat.This pattern is a great place to start if you’re thinking of venturing into the linear style of drumming. The written notation for each orchestration will be appearing at the bottom of the screen as I play the examples.
