In this free drum lesson, I want to teach you the song “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith featuring Joey Kramer on drums.

This song features some great solid drumming from Joey. We have a basic verse groove and then we have a rather syncopated bridge groove that really plays around with the bass drum.

Then we have the outro drum beat involving more syncopated bass drum and double handed hi-hat action. Throughout the whole song Joey finds places to include some really tasty drum fills as well.
