This is the latest Free Video Drum Lesson based on the requests I received from my Facebook followers. One of the requests I got was for the song “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder.
In this free drum lesson I’m going to show you how to play my favourite drum fill from the whole song – the fill that occurs at 1:14. This little lick still gets me excited, thanks to it’s syncopated and baffling orchestration.
Did you know that the drummer was in fact Stevie Wonder?!?! Nope, neither did I, but it turns out that Stevie can really play the drums! It makes this fill even more interesting considering it was played by someone who’s first instrument wasn’t even the drums!
