In this free drum lesson, I want to teach you the drums to the song “Trash” by Suede featuring Simon Gilbert on drums.
The song features some basic but effective drum beats for both the chorus and the verse. Simon splashes some colour by playing the same drum fill but orchestrating it in interesting and fun ways.
Throughout the lesson I show you what Simon actually plays, but then to make this lesson more suitable to a beginner, I also simplify the parts showing you alternatives to parts of the song.
