When I first got a copy of the album Songs For The Deaf by Queens Of The Stone Age and heard the track “A Song For The Dead” I was totally blown away by the power and precision of Dave Grohl on drums! Nobody seems to be able to bash the drums quite like Grohly!
The Drum Solo Intro at the beginning of A Song For The Dead has to be one of the most exciting and well played drum solos found on a rock record in years. I just had to do a free drum lesson on this piece of drumming genius…so here it is! š
