In this free video drum lesson, I want to teach you the little drum solo section at the end of “The Trooper” by Iron Maiden, featuring the drumming of Nicko McBrain.
This has been requested over on my Facebook page many times before, so really wanted to do something for everyone. I thought teaching you how to play that cool drum section at the end of the song would be a nice choice.
This section is also very similar to the intro so can be used there as well. It features the Fa-De-La-Dump lick I like so much and lots of tom tom action!
