In this free video drum lesson, I want to teach you how to play a sneaky linear triplet groove.
The pattern is very simple but it’s what you do with it that matters! I show you the basic idea between the hands and the feet, and then proceed to experiment with different orchestration ideas. Moving the right hand to the hi-hat, both hands to the toms and then within a drum beat, as both an extension of the groove and a drum fill.
