In this free video drum lesson, I want to teach you how to play the song “Oh Yeah (On The Radio)” by Roxy Music featuring Allan Schwatzberg on drums.
Well firstly, I love this song very much and have always admired the drumming on it. It always stood out as a bit of class playing to me. It has a reggae type of feel and influence before and after moving into a more conventional chorus. Allan plays around with little ideas throughout making the song almost sound like a mini drum solo…but it all works so well!
