In this free video drum lesson, I want to show you how to play the drum beat from the song “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette, featuring the drumming of Taylor Hawkins.
For this lesson, I wanted to show you a simplified version of the drum beat also. Playing the actual version is not totally necessary in order to support this song on the drums and have fun. But for the more advanced drummers, I’ve given you the actual version with extra hi-hat. And it’s Taylor Hawkins on drums…who knew?!
