Difficulty Level _ Intermediate

In this new series of free video drum lessons, I want to focus on some of my favourite drum licks, fills, grooves and patterns.

Hopefully these video drum lessons will give you some inspiration in the practice room and will help you to get excited about playing drums.

In this first video, I explore a Linear style drum fill that I came across another drummer teaching on YouTube. He called it the “3132” pattern and is best played as triplets. In this lesson I explain several ways to use the lick as well as exploring how the pattern can be extended and adapted.
