In this free drum lesson, I want to teach you the drums to the song “Merry Christmas Everybody” by Slade featuring Don Powell on drums.

So as part of this festive month, I wanted to teach you at least one “Christmasy” song. This was requested over on my Facebook page and it’s a belter of a tune!

The song features a shuffle pattern on the snare drum with some simple but effective drum fills splashed throughout. I also briefly talk about the live version they performed on TV many years ago…it’s very funny!
