In this free video drum lesson, I want to teach you the main drum parts from the song “Otherside” by Red Hot Chili Peppers, featuring the drumming of Chad Smith.
This video was created so that my followers over on my YouTube Channel got a chance to make their own song suggestions as well. The free PDF below is a “cheat sheet” containing just the most important and prominent parts of the song.
It features Chad Smith playing some classic grooves that he soooo loves to play…lot’s of ghost notes and funky hi-hat parts! I’ve included the bridge at the end of the song as well which includes a really fun tom tom groove…and a little spicy drum fill at the end.
If you want to make your own song suggestions then please feel free to go over to YouTube (the link is below the video) and type into the comments section of this video your own ideas.
