In this free drum lesson, I want to give you the FULL free PDF Drum Chart to the song “Even Flow” by Pearl Jam, featuring the drumming of Dave Krusen.
This has been requested a million times in the past, so it’s about time I got round to this classic. This song is more of a reading challenge than a technical drumming challenge due to Dave’s monstrous use of ghost notes…they’re everywhere! In between the ghost notes we have some solid grooves and very unique drum fills. Lots to take out and put into your playing!

Due to the complexity of the reading, I also wanted to give you a simplified version of the chart as well. The chart below is identical to the one above except that ALL unnecessary ghost notes have been removed for ease of reading. An advanced drummer will naturally add their own ghost notes to a groove, but at least this way an intermediate drummer could also have a go as well without being intimidated by the reading!
