In this free video drum lesson we’re going to look at the super-sweet drum solo outro from the song “Best Of You” by the Foo Fighters. Taylor Hawkins really lets rip and treats us to some short but tasty drum licks.

It’s an 8 bar solo with each bar starting with a distinctive set of stabs. Each bar then contains a different two beat drum lick, some played as sixteenths, some as sixteenth note triplets and one as eighth note triplets.
