Ever wondered how to fill out a groove and play those really cool sounding funk beats? This lesson is going to introduce you to every drummers best friend – the ghost note.
By the end of the video you’ll understand what ghost notes are, where they can be used and hopefully just how effective they are at creating great and dynamic sounding grooves.
I demonstrate some great basic ghost note ideas to get started with and then move on to more common and complicated examples. The written notation for each example will be appearing at the bottom of the screen as I play.
